Ploughing through a Busy Winter

February 1st, 2011

At Seisland, we have been very busy getting through our usual winter rush of field work, mostly 3D seismic surveys in Alberta, but also have been able to expand into a few new kinds of work.   Later in the winter season we will be fortunate in being able to take on some non-seismic surveying.  Our GIS division has also been very busy with Seismic Survey Mapping, Seismic Data Representation Comparison Analysis and Emergency Response Plan Mapping projects.  And all of our field mapping coordinators have been upgraded to the latest version of ESRI ArcView, complete with custom Seisland tools built by the Seisland GIS Mapping division this past season.  This will allow them to be even more efficient for their day to day mapping tasks.  Once our new TriliGIS web-enabled mapping system fully launches in the coming few months, we are anticipating continued growth for our GIS division at Seisland!

Welcome to our new website!

August 16th, 2010

Welcome to our new website! We had some fun putting this together – you’ll see that the photo gallery has lots of historic pictures of seismic surveying over the years. Our great thanks goes to all the friends, clients and employees who contributed. We’re planning on adding new ones regularly to keep things fresh, and tell the story of our evolution. We also hope you’ll have a few laughs! Please drop us a line and let us know what you think – or send in a photo if you’ve got something to add!
