Seisland would like to congratulate Natasha Tippett on her new position as our Business Development Manager, effective May 1st. A Geomatics Engineer, Natasha worked with Seisland this past fall and winter as a Field Mapping Coordinator in southern and northern Alberta.

Welcome to our new website! You’ll see that the photo gallery has lots of historic pictures of seismic surveying over the years. Our great thanks goes to all the friends, clients and employees who contributed. We’re planning on adding new ones regularly to keep things fresh, and tell the story of our evolution. TriliGIS Update

Seisland’s on-line GIS product, TriliGIS, was launched in 2011. TriliGIS is being utilized for web-enabled Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Mapping, Regional Project Database and On-line Pipeline Maintenance Scheduling  projects. Seisland’s New Account Manager

Seisland would like to congratulate Garrett Geck on his new position as Account Manager for Seisland. Garrett worked as a GPS Surveyor in Northern Alberta and the North West Territories this past fall and winter season. Previously, Garrett worked as a Sales Representative in the Automotive Industry.

Ploughing through a Busy Winter

At Seisland, we had a busy winter working mainly on large programs in Alberta as well as the North West Territories with our Joint Venture Company, Stone Lake Surveys Ltd. Our GIS division has remained busy on a Seismic Representation Comparison Analysis Projects, Seismic Survey Mapping Projects and Seismic Final Plans. The Seisland GIS division continues to build custom tools for ESRI in order to make our field mapping crews more efficient. Our web-enabled mapping software, TriliGIS, has been launched and our clients are now accessing their maps and data, with an enhanced Version 2 set to be released in May, 2012.
